began writing in retirement. After a successful career in
Business Administration and losing his wife Helen in 2021,
he authored nearly twenty books since his debut novel in
2016. His latest, Gray, showcases his passion for the
American West.

Richard G. Austerman, a lifelong resident of Kodiak, Alaska, embarked on his writing journey later in life after a successful career in Business Administration. Attending college in Sitka, Alaska, he met and married his beloved Helen, with whom he shared 55 years until her passing in 2021. Retiring in 1998, Richard transitioned from crafting short stories to becoming a prolific novelist.
